THE children and staff of Blisland Community Primary School had fun during their pirate day, held on Friday, June 14. Parents had clearly been active behind the scenes, as the children looked fabulous in their pirate costumes. During this themed day — linked to the children's current topic about the sea — pupils not only dressed the part, but also demonstrated creativity and some great acting talent within role-play. Alongside other lessons, the opportunity to develop team-work was presented through a scavenger hunt and a treasure hunt, and the children proved themselves to be a loyal and worthy crew!
