A huge plume of smoke billows from a refuse lorry on fire in Whitland on Monday.
The alarm was raised at 11.27 am when the vehicle caught fire outside the rugby club.
Firefighters from the town and a crew from Narberth used three hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire on the exterior of the vehicle.
An electric saw and small gear was used to access the rubbish compartment of the vehicle, with a hose reel jet used to extinguish a small fire inside.
No injuries were reported and the fire was not thought to have been deliberate. Firefighters left the scene at 1.22 pm.
