Members of Bude Jive Club danced the night away recently to celebrated another anniversary.
Bude Jive Club celebrated their 17th anniversary on a Saturday night with a dance at The Parkhouse Centre, Bude with the band they had when they first started doing dances.
‘The Fabulous 59 Ford’ plus Rock & Roll DJ ‘The Great Pretender’ provided some excellent music all evening and with more than 100 people attending everyone had a lovely evening, — celebrating the club’s success with a glass of bubbly.
They meet on Monday club nights with lessons and dancing to mostly 50’s Rock & Roll music, and regularly organise charity events and raffles giving to local community causes.
The most recent donation was to Bude Carnival committee, and on Monday, October 31, they held a raffle for Bude First Responders, and in November will be collecting food for Bude Foodbank.
