Camelford’s doctors’ surgeries have now been merged into one operation, it has been confirmed.
Veor Group have confirmed that all patients previously registered with Dr Garrod have been moved across to the registration of Veor.
However, the transition has not been totally faultless. Veor Group issued an apology to patients for issues related to answering telephone calls, and say that they are working with the phone service provider to improve how they are answered.
A spokesperson for Veor Group, Camelford Medical Centre said: “The wider NHS has now transferred all patients to Veor Camelford. So everyone that was registered with Dr Garrod has now moved across.
“We are sorry for the telephone issues we are having at the moment. We are working with the telephone company to improve how we answer your calls. We do really appreciate your support and kindness at this difficult period of change for us all.
“Especially thank you to all of the team for their hard work as we develop into one team. We are looking forward to being one team from the 1st April.
“We will also be starting a new Patient Participation Group to help us improve the care and support we provide. We also hope to be making an announcement about a new surgery in Camelford in the near future.
“Thank you again for bearing with us during this time of change.”
