Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies has called for an update from the Welsh Government on the work that has been undertaken into the possibility of dualling the A40 in Pembrokeshire.
The Minister made a commitment in November 2014 to look into the issue and stipulated that work would be completed within sixth months.
Speaking from The Senedd, Mr. Davies said: "The Minister made it quite clear that her officials would be considering the feasibility of dualling the A40 and that their work would be completed in six months. Therefore, it's only reasonable that the Minister shares the findings of this work with the people of Pembrokeshire, so we can better understand the challenges facing this potential project."
He added: "We've seen the recent news that up to 100 new jobs could be created with the expansion of an engineering firm in Pembrokeshire and I firmly believe that dualling the A40 would attract even more business opportunities to the county. For these reasons, I hope that the Minister comes forward with a statement outlining the outcomes of her officials' work as soon as possible."
