ALTON'S 32nd 10-mile road race attracted 424 runners on Sunday and produced a 'home' winner.

Toby Lambert, who hails from Alton but now represents Winchester and District Athletics Club, streaked ahead of the field to take the race in 52 minutes 45 seconds.

Next over the line was Stubbington Green runner Daniel O'Boyle in 55 minutes 10 seconds.
