Members of Lewtrenchard WI met on December 11 at Lewdown Victory Hall. 

Margaret welcomed 22 members and one guest bell ringer. Margaret introduced Jean who has joined our committee. Presently there are seven members on the committee but they would welcome more. Then they sang Jerusalem. 

The committee then surprised the members by singing ‘(Hey) Big Spender’, all dressed-up for the part, this was received with a lot of hilarity. 

Then followed the hand bell ringers from Lewtrenchard, performing songs and carols. They provided lyrics so everyone took part singing along. Some members had a go at hand bell ringing. Then members moved onto refreshments and Secret Santa. Everyone had a jolly good time.
